Concept – Elevated Living in Nature
This villa is designed as an architectural retreat floating within the forest canopy, yet grounded in clarity and modernity. The design emphasizes horizontality, with bold cantilevered forms that project into the landscape and frame uninterrupted views. The architecture expresses a desire to live with nature, not apart from it, using transparency and restraint to dissolve the boundaries between forest, architecture, and inhabitant.
Site Integration and Topography
Positioned on a sloped, forested terrain, the villa embraces the land’s natural contours. The architecture is embedded within the hillside without disruption using a stepped platform system and cantilevered decks to maintain a minimal footprint. Circulation flows along the contour lines, while terraces extend outward, appearing to float above the landscape. The home becomes a quiet participant in its environment, respectful and responsive.

Light, View, and Orientation
Full-height glazing wraps the building on all sides, allowing each room to enjoy immersive views of the forest and sky. The orientation maximizes morning and afternoon light, while the deep overhangs control solar gain and enhance privacy. Light is not only admitted but shaped bouncing off warm interior surfaces and reflecting in the pool’s water plane. Every space is carefully positioned to balance openness with intimacy.
Indoor–Outdoor Continuity
The villa is organized around a seamless flow between indoor comfort and outdoor leisure. Living spaces open directly onto the pool deck and garden terraces, blurring the edge between architecture and landscape. Materials and lines are continuous between inside and out, reinforcing the unity of the design. From morning coffee on the deck to evenings in the pool or spa, the villa fosters a lifestyle of calm immersion in nature.
