Concept
Perched on the shoreline, this private villa is conceived as an architectural response to the serenity and vastness of the sea. The design is driven by an ethos of openness and contextual sensitivity blurring the threshold between built and natural environments. The volumetric composition emphasizes horizontality, echoing the horizon line, while the architectural language maintains a minimal and monolithic identity. Spatial gestures, such as cantilevered overhangs and frameless openings, reinforce the seamless visual and physical flow between interior spaces, the pool, and the beach.
Spatial Flow
The villa’s spatial organization is guided by clarity, hierarchy, and transparency. The ground floor is structured around a central axis that connects communal spaces to the exterior terraces and water features. Private zones are discretely zoned toward the rear, buffered by service elements and landscaped patios. Full height sliding glass panels dissolve boundaries, allowing the architecture to adapt fluidly to climatic and programmatic needs. Circulation is deliberately unobtrusive, reinforcing a sense of calm and uninterrupted spatial experience.
